All Poly Flex couplings are manufactured from engineering grade heat cured polymer alloy. As this material is a thermoplastic, there may be dimensional changes from those specified, depending on ambient temperature conditions.

It should be noted that Poly Flex couplings electrically isolate the engine/transmission from the propeller and shaft.
